2005
Research Grant Recipient to Present in Scotland
 Lisa
Hanson PhD, CNM, FACNM, Associate Professor at MU College of Nursing
(and an Aurora Sinai Clinical Nurse Midwife), Delta Gamma member
and recipient of the 2005 Research Grant
Award from Delta Gamma Chapter, will be disseminating the
findings of her research at the International Congress of Midwives
Triennial Meeting, Glasgow Scotland, in June 2008.
Her abstract of the study findings, "Promoting passive fetal
descent for second stage labor management of unanesthetized low
risk primigravidas: A pilot study" was accepted for a podium
presentation.
She is also currently working on an article for the Journal
of Perinatal and Neonatal Nursing that will be based on
the findings.
