Your Delta Gamma Board met on February 12, 2009 to put the finishing
touches on our 2009 Joint Chapter Dinner Program on Emergency
Preparedness. Register for this event.
We will also be holding elections at our Joint Meeting for new
Delta Gamma Board and Committee positions. Nominate yourself
or others to serve by following this link.
A reminder that Delta Gamma induction is coming up on Sunday,
April 26th.
Also -- Delta Gamma is awarding research grants again this year.

the Marquette Neighborhood Health Center.
I am proud to announce that Dr. Mary Polchert, Delta Gamma Newsletter
Editor and web liaison, was appointed to the STTI selection panel,
judging the 2009 International Nursing Excellence Awards. The
International Nursing Excellence awards recognize achievements
in the fields of technology, media, chapter excellence, research
and leadership. Dr. Polchert attended the STTI Leadership Academy
in October 2008 with a special focus on enhancing the Delta Gamma
web development. She returned with many great ideas and put many
of them already into action -- as evident by our improved look
and navigation abilities. Mary is Associate Professor at Marian
University School of Nursing and teaches research and theory
at the undergraduate and graduate levels and is assisting with
the implementation of on-line course strategies. Congratulations
Mary!
