Dear Delta Gamma Membership,
Happy New Year to you all!
I am pleased to announce that at the General Membership
meeting on December 8, 2010 – the members unanimously
voted to proceed with the work necessary to advance the
partnership between the Delta Gamma Chapter and
Alverno College of Nursing to make a Delta Gamma At Large Chapter.

The membership meeting was following by the education
program – An Evening of Research featuring
research studies supported by funding from Delta Gamma
and STTI.
Researchers - Stacee Lerret, Jennifer
Ohlendorf, Abir Bekhet, Kristin Haglund, & DG Reseach
Chair - Richard Fehring
We also completed another successful children’s
book drive during December for the Marquette Neighborhood
Health Clinic. In partnership with the Marquette Student
Nurses Association – we collected about 400 books.
A big thanks to the MUSNA for their partnership!

Coming up – we have several Board
and Committee Leaders opportunities in 2011.
Officers to be elected include:
- President Elect
- Vice
President
- Treasurer
- Board Member-at-large from
Alverno College
- 2 Leadership Succession Members
Appointed committee member positions for the Leading
Edge Website Liaison and Research Chair are also open.
All
are 2 year terms beginning in July 2011. Please
